Location: Almansor Center – Early Education Program💰 Pay Range: $21.66–$25.69/hr (based on experience, education & language skills)

As our Early Education Office Manager, you'll be the friendly, go-to support for our Program Director, amazing teachers, and families.
Your days will be full of variety and meaningful connections. You might:
Assist in overseeing and coordinating all operational and administrative functions to ensure compliance with Community Care Licensing regulations🧩 Support in classrooms when needed
📅 Schedule appointments, tours, & intakes
📁 Organize and update student files, logs, & forms
📝 Provide clerical support for new referrals & program funding
🧠 Coordinate meetings for leadership & staff
🎯 Work on special projects, mailings, & curriculum supplies
📊 Maintain class rosters, student lists, & waiting lists
🧑🏫 Support staff training, interns, & volunteers
✅ High school diploma/GED + 3 years of admin/office experience
✅ At least 3 Early Childhood Education (ECE) units & a willingness to complete a minimum of 6 ECE units
✅ Comfortable with Microsoft Office (including Teams), email, & learning new tech relevant to role
✅ Reliable transportation and valid auto insurance
✅ Ability to pass background checks & health clearances
✅ Up-to-date on TB test, MMR & DTap vaccines

ABOUT IRL
The Institute for the Redesign of Learning (IRL) is a multi-service, community-based Special Education, mental health, job development, and training facility for special needs children, students, and adults. IRL began in 1974 when its founder, Nancy J. Lavelle, Ph.D., created the Almansor Education Center located in a church on Almansor Street in Alhambra, California. With the belief that every student has the ability to “take charge” of their own learning process, Dr. Lavelle established a unique environment and individualized curriculum and created appropriate support and enrichment services designed to turn student and client learning failures into learning successes. Now over forty years later, the Institute for the Redesign of Learning offers six programs designed to provide a continuum of care for individuals with Special Needs, ages infants through adults, serving children, students, and clients throughout the greater Los Angeles and San Gabriel Valley communities.
